AUGUST 1 TO 9 ,2026 .
from to the present day, Marc La Tour's sculpture studio and guest sculptors, our partners, have transformed our small village in Corrèze : a sculpture discovery path, a sculpture garden representing five continents, unique and enduring collective work that dialogues with the village and the continents.
A new initiative was launched in 2024 , "the garden of Eden", which gives tree rein to imagination of sculptors. It will develop over a decade in the new Commune of Lagarde Marc La Tour and will be open to other sustainable materials :limestone, basalt, sandstone, metal bronze, ceramics, glass, etc, recycled or painted objects will resonate with the local granite from a nearby quarry, which remains the' site's material of choice.
This new artistic approach also includes the possibility of ephemeral actions ans performances, , or specific collective workshop out side of the biennials.
For the 2026 biennial, each sculptor in the workshop or guest must submit a personal or collective project in the form of drawings or models before July 1 ,2026.
Each creation is free within the framework of these regulations ans within the limit of our means . It becomes property of municipality.
Professional sculptors are reimbursed for their travel ans works u to euros 1700 and are provided with accommodation in the village.
Only local granite is provided with the sculpting equipment ; other materials used are at the discretion of the sculptors.
