Masque africain Serge Veyssière 2009 african mask

La sculpture de Serge Veyssière est à son image très discrète.Elle s'est insérée particulièrement bien dans le site du jardin de sculpture des cinq continents. Réalisée en 2009 lors de la biennale avec les artistes du Burkina Faso, elle évoque un masque africain submergée par l'eau de source....

Dans le jardin de sculpture, cette année là, nous avons associé l'eau, ce bien précieux, qui manque au Sud et peut être bientôt  au Nord. Le masque africain est intégré à une retenue d'eau qui déborde en automne, en hiver et au printemps  pour s'assécher en été.

Serge a appris la sculpture dans l' atelier  de Marc la Tour,depuis il a réalisé dans les communes voisines de Saint Bonnet Avalouze et Espagnac plusieurs sculptures que l'on remarque par leur méticulosité .

Serge Veyssière's sculpture is for its very discreet image. She fitted particularly well into the site of the garden of sculpture of five continents. Realized in 2009 during the biennial event with the artists of Burkina Faso, she evokes an African mask submerged by the spring water....

In the garden of sculpture, this year there, we associated the water, this precious good, which is lacking in the South and can be soon for the North. The African mask is integrated into a restraint of water which overflows in autumn, in winter and in the spring to dry up in summer.
Serge learnt the sculpture in Marc la Tour's workshop, since he realized in the nearby municipalities of Saint Bonnet Avalouze and Espagnac several sculptures which we notice by their meticulousness.
