Hommage aux origines  Evi Charrier Tribute in origins

Evi CharrierMavroyannis fréquente en amateur e l' atelier de sculpture de Marc La Tour depuis l'année 2007. Elle fait partie des habitants de Marc La Tour qui se sont passionnés pour notre démarche artistique dans le village jusqu'à s'y impliquer fortement depuis plusieurs années. Le granite n'est pas une pierre tendre, il faut aimer se confronter à la matière et faire preuve d'une grande patience pour apprendre et d'une grande ténacité pour réussir. Mais notre atelier demande encore plus: créer une oeuvre d'art  . 

Une borne sur le chemin de la pierre  rappelle la lucarne de la maison où Evi vit ... un hommage de pierre à une architecture rurale de qualité. Deux sculptures en granite font corps avec le portail d'entrée :  l'une évoque l'art des Cyclades, l'autre les croix orthodoxes témoignant des origines grecques de la sculptrice. 

La village s'enrichit grâce au granite sculpté et s'ouvre sur le monde avec à ses habitants.

N'est ce pas là  le vivant témoignage d'une démarche artistique qui veut allier art, ruralité et humanité où peuvent se rencontrer villageois, artistes et amateurs d'art. Merci Evi !

 Evi Charrier Mavroyannis sees frequently in amateur the workshop of sculpture of Marc La Tour since the year 2007. She is a member of inhabitants of Marc La Tour who were passionate about our artistic approach in the village until get involved there strongly for several years. The granite is not a soft stone, it is necessary to like confronting with the material and showing a big patience to learn and of a big tenacity to succeed. But our workshop asks even more: create a work of art. 

A border on the way of the stone calls back the small window of the house where Evi lives ... a stony tribute in rural quality architecture. Two sculptures in granite are at one with the entrance gate: 

the one evokes the art of the Cyclades, the other one the orthodox crosses showing Greek origins of the sculptrice. 

Village grows rich thanks to the sculptured granite and opens on the world with to his inhabitants.

Testimony of an artistic approach is it not there living it which wants to ally art, rural life and humanity where can meet villagers, artists and art lovers. Thank you Evi!
