Christine Porteneuve a participé plusieurs années à notre atelier puis elle a du arrêter le dur travail de la pierre.Elle a réalisée plusieurs sculptures dans un style très personnel. La calebasse a été réalisée à l'occasion de la biennale avec les artistes du Burkina Faso en 2009. Elle rappelle un objet usuel en Afrique mais son originalité est qu'elle renvoie la lumière du soleil grâce à un miroir brisé évoquant son rôle essentiel dans la vie sur terre. Elle vient en écho au cadran solaire et aux sculptures toutes proches qui jouent avec l'eau de source du jardin de sculpture.
Sur la promenade de la pierre qui est jalonnée par 13 bornes de granite, Christine a également sculpté un jalonnement original un scarabée et sur l'autre face un feuille de chêne avec un gland .
Nous regrettons tous qu'elle n'ai pu continuer avec nous l'aventure de Marc la Tour.
Christine Porteneuve participated several years in our workshop then she has of to stop the hard work of the stone. She realized several sculptures in a very personal style. The gourd was realized on the occasion of the biennial event with the artists of Burkina Faso in 2009. She calls bac an everyday object in Africa but her originality is that it sends back the sunlight thanks to a broken mirror evoking its essential role in the life on earth. She comes in echo to the sundial and to the quite close sculptures which play with the spring water of the garden of sculpture.
On the walk of the stone which is marked out by 13 borders of granite, Christine also sculptured an original marking out a beetle and on the other face one oak-leaf with an glans.
We regret all that she was not able to continue with us Marc la Tour's adventure.
Christine Porteneuve participó varios años en nuestro taller luego tiene de parar el trabajo duro de la piedra. Realizó varias esculturas en un estilo muy personal. La calabaza ha sido realizada con ocasión de la bienal con los artistas de Burkina Faso en 2009. Recuerda un artículo de uso en África pero su originalidad es que reenvía la luz del sol gracias a un espejo quebrantado que evoca su papel esencial en la vida sobre tierra. Viene en eco al reloj de sol y a las esculturas totalmente próximas que juegan con agua de pie del jardín de escultura.
Sobre el paseo de la piedra que es jalonado por 13 límites de granito, Christine también esculpió un jalonamiento original un escarabajo y sobre la otra cara hoja de roble con una bellota.
Nosotros todos sentimos que ella no pude continuar con nosotros la aventura de Marc la Tour.
