Chronique dominicale N° 466 Quelques images de l'année 2023 qui se termine Joyeuses Fêtes !

Une année bien remplie avec des moments conviviaux à l'atelier où dans le village.

Nos journées de sculptures à l'atelier, les sorties d'histoire de l'art, l'été culturel avec  les expositions carcasses et ferrailles, la venue de Pierre Bergounioux à Marc la Tour.

Les travaux d'aménagement du jardin des sculptures en cours avec le théâtre de poche.

L'année 2023 restera un bon cru après les 30 ans de notre atelier.

Le dépôt du permis de construire pour le nouvel atelier laisse bien augurer  du travail et de nouvelles réjouissances pour 2024 .

A busy year with convivial moments in the workshop or in the village.

Our days of sculptures in the studio, art history outings, the cultural summer with the carcass and scrap metal exhibitions, the visit of Pierre Bergounioux to Marc la Tour.

Work on the development of the sculpture garden is underway with the pocket theatre.

The year 2023 will remain a good year after the 30th anniversary of our workshop.

 The submission of the building permit for the new workshop augurs well for work and new celebrations for 2024.

Chronique dominicale N° 465 Nouveau cheminement en cours au jardin des sculptures nouveau regard !

 Un nouveau cheminement est en cours d'aménagement au jardin des sculptures de Marc la Tour. Il se déploie depuis la partie basse en forme de ruban qui serpente jusqu'au salon de thé situé sur un replat en haut du jardin . Le cheminement sur un  lit de cailloux et de castine facilitera l'accès sur un dénivelé de plus de 30 mètres.

Un nouveau regard sur les croupes boisées du paysage environnant et surtout une nouvelle approche des sculptures que l'on peut approcher et découvrir plus facilement.

Nul doute qu'avec le théâtre de  poche et des petits spectacles ponctuels ce sera une nouvelle attractivité  pour la cinquantaine de sculpture que l'on pourra approcher.

Des visites guidées pourront être organisées à la demande auprès de notre association. 

Au printemps ces aménagements auront bien avancés avant le plan paysager qui devrait intervenir à l'automne prochain

A new path is being developed in the sculpture garden of Marc la Tour. It unfolds from the lower part in the form of a ribbon that winds its way to the tea room located on a flat at the top of the garden. The path on a bed of pebbles and castine will facilitate access over a difference in altitude of more than 30 meters.

A new look at the wooded outcrops of the surrounding landscape and above all a new approach to the sculptures that can be approached and discovered more easily.

There is no doubt that with the pocket theatre and small one-off shows, it will be a new attraction for the fifty or so sculptures that we will be able to approach.

Guided tours can be organised on request from our association. 

By the spring, these developments will have progressed well before the landscaping plan, which should take place next autumn

CHRONIQUE DOMINICALE N° 464 Travaux au jardin des sculptures de Marc la Tour suite...

 Malgré les intempéries l'entreprise Faucher est à pied d'œuvre dans le jardin des sculptures de Marc la Tour. Elle fournit également la pierre de sa carrière à Eyrein. L es trois rangées assises en pierre sèches sont terminées ainsi que les deux escaliers sur les côtés. La délimitation de la scène en pierre sera terminée cette semaine . Un beau travail qui sera ensuite terrassé en castine , il faudra attendre des jours meilleurs pour finir les joints.

Le théâtre de poche sera clos côté arrière scène par une rangée d'ifs. Les talus seront remodelés par l'entreprise de terrassement BNTP de Lagraulière dès que le temps le permettra. Les cheminements restent à terminer. 

Nous espérons pouvoir l'utiliser l été prochain bien que le site ne soit pas encore paysagé. 

Despite the bad weather, the Faucher company is hard at work in the sculpture garden of Marc la Tour. It also supplies the stone for its quarry in Eyrein. The three rows of dry stone seats have been completed as well as the two staircases on the sides. The delineation of the stone stage will be completed this week. A beautiful work that will then be terracotted in castine, we will have to wait for better days to finish the joints.

The pocket theatre will be enclosed on the back side by a row of yew trees. The embankments will be remodelled by the earthmoving company BNTP of Lagraulière as soon as the weather permits. The journeys have yet to be completed. 

We hope to be able to use it next summer although the site is not yet landscaped.
