Michel Villier a connu et séjourné en Haute Volta en 1970 c'est avec plaisir qu'il a pu redécouvrir les paysages qu'il avait parcouru avec sa future épouse.Le temps passe et il nous présente l'usure du temps comme un livre ouvert : le visage jeune au centre se partage en vieillissant pour se transformer en tête cadavérique.. A proximité de sa sculpture le chef du village et un habitant  se reposent.

Michel Villier conoció y permaneció en Alto Volta en 1970 es con mucho gusto pudo redescubrir los paisajes que había recorrido con su futura esposa. El tiempo pasa y nos presenta el desgaste del tiempo como un libro abierto: la cara joven en el centro se reparte envejeciendo para transformarse en cabeza cadavérica.. Cerca de su escultura el jefe del pueblo y el habitante se reposan.
