Faustin Tougma est un jeune artiste originaire du Burkina Faso, formé au Centre National d'Artisanat d'Art de Ouagadougou et à Laongo autour du sculpteur Siriki Ky,commissaire du site de sculpture burkinabé . Faustin a réalisé plusieurs œuvres sur ce site emblématique du Burkina Faso, en France et dans divers pays.En 2009 il faisait partie du groupe des cinq sculpteurs burkinabé invités à Marc la Tour. Il vit maintenant en région parisienne avec sa famille.
La sculpture qu'il a réalisé pour nous se présente comme un signal au sommet du jardin de sculpture.Elle fusionne  l'homme et le végétal. Entre les deux formes l'artiste a gravé un fin sillon dans le granite. Les jours de pluie l'eau s'écoule dans ce sillon avant de rejoindre le sol.Un bien précieux pour l'Afrique et une source de vie pour l'humanité magnifiée par la main du sculpteur.
De ce séjour et de ceux qui ont suivi nous avons apprécié, outre sa grande maîtrise de la pierre, du bois et du bronze dans des œuvres composites, un contact chaleureux apprécié par les habitants du village à l'heure de l'apéro !

 Faustin Tougma is a young artist native of Burkina Faso, formed in the National Center of Arts and crafts of Ouagadougou and in Laongo around the sculptor Siriki Ky, commissioner of the site of sculpture Burkinabe. Faustin realized several works on this symbolic site of Burkina Faso, in France and in diverse country. In 2009 he was a member of the group of five sculptors Burkinabe invited to Marc la Tour. He lives now in Paris region with his family.
The sculpture that he realized for us appears as a signal at the top of the garden of sculpture. it merges the man and the vegetable. Between both forms the artist engraved a fine furrow in the granite. The rainy days the water passes by in this furrow before joining the ground. The precious good for Africa  and a source of life for the humanity glorified by the hand of the sculptor.
Of this stay and those who followed we appreciated, besides his big control of the stone,  wood and  bronze in composite works, a warm contact was appreciated by inhabitants of the village at the time of the apéritif !
